Emergency Response training

Emergency Response Training

4 hours duration, on-site delivery for company groups

Emergencies can happen at any time in any workplace. Whether it’s a fire, hazardous spill, or security threat, having a well trained team can mean the difference between chaos and control.

PeopleSafe Australia’s Emergency Response Training (also known as Emergency Planning and Management training) thoroughly examines the various types of emergencies and, more importantly, how to prepare and react to them should they occur. Employers have a responsibility to prepare Emergency Response Procedures (ERP’s) for all types of emergencies their staff may encounter in their workplace(s).

This four hour course can be delivered to your company group on-site or via Zoom.

Topics – Emergency Response Training:

  • Types of Emergencies and emergency categories
  • WHS Legal Obligations around emergencies and typical responsibilities of key personnel
  • Preventing Emergencies from occurring in the first place
  • Identifying options for Initial Response
  • Planning and writing Emergency Response Procedures (ERP’s)
  • Establishing Emergency Control Teams
  • Rehearsing ERP’s

This training can be customised for your company (additional fees apply).
