Risk Management for Managers and Supervisors (Construction Specific) 8 hours.

This construction industry specific training course provides supervisors and site managers with a comprehensive understanding of their statutory WHS obligations and the skills to identify hazards, assess risks, and conduct site safety inspections. The one day course includes implementing effective WHS controls, SWMSs and practical risk management strategies for construction environments.

 

SuperSafe – Safety for Construction Supervisors  2 days

A comprehensive two day construction health & safety training program designed specifically for construction supervisors. This course covers WHS responsibilities, WHS legislation and codes of practice, consultation and communication, WHS Management plans, risk management, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and leadership skills required to maintain safe construction sites.

 

WHS Due Diligence for Senior Managers (Construction focus)  3.5 hours

This course supports construction business owners, directors and senior leaders in understanding their WHS due diligence obligations. It includes  case studies, legal responsibilities, risk oversight and practical strategies for meeting WHS governance requirements.

 

Safety Committee Training 2 days

Construction companies with WHS committees can strengthen their consultation framework with this course, covering committee roles, meeting processes, communication and WHS decision‑making. Empower new and existing safety committee members with a two-day intensive course.

 

Hazardous Chemicals Awareness Training (Construction Contextualised) 4 hours

Construction sites often involve paints, adhesives, solvents, fuels and other hazardous chemicals. This course helps workers and supervisors understand GHS labels, SDS, safe storage, handling, spill response and WHS compliance for hazardous substances on construction sites. Available as a four hour awareness course or seven hour Nationally Recognised training with detailed assessment.

 

Silica Awareness Training (SafeWork NSW Approved) 3 hours

Silica exposure is a major risk in construction. This course provides essential knowledge on silica hazards, exposure controls, PPE, dust suppression and SafeWork NSW requirements for managing silica risks.

 

Asbestos Awareness training 3 hours

Construction workers frequently encounter asbestos in demolition, refurbishment and maintenance work. This course covers identification, health risks, legal requirements and safe work practices for asbestos in construction environments.

 

Manual Handling Training (Construction specific) 1.5 hour or 3.5 hour options

Construction workers regularly lift, carry, push and pull materials, tools and equipment. This course provides practical manual handling techniques, body mechanics, risk controls and strategies to reduce musculoskeletal injuries on construction sites. Choose from 1.5 hour awareness training or 3.5 hour nationally recognised training.

 

Emergency Planning & Management Training 4 hours

Construction sites require robust emergency procedures. This course covers emergency planning, communication, roles and responsibilities, and practical response strategies tailored to construction environments.

 

Incident Reporting & Investigation Training 4 hours

Construction supervisors and workers learn how to report incidents, near misses and hazards, and how to participate in or conduct basic incident investigations to prevent recurrence.

 

Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Training 5 days

SafeWork NSW‑approved HSR training for construction workers elected as Health and Safety Representatives. This course supports effective consultation, issue resolution and WHS communication on construction sites. SafeWork NSW approved training for HSRs to effectively represent safety interests.

 

How to Write a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for High-Risk Construction Work 3.5 hours

Empower staff and subcontractors with the skills to develop, review, and monitor and check High-Risk SWMSs effectively.

 

Health and Well-being Programs for Construction Workers 3.5 hours

Improve staff health and well-being, leading to reduced absenteeism and enhanced productivity.

 

Asbestos and Lead Product Awareness Training 3 hours

Equip managers and supervisors to recognize and mitigate risks associated with ACM and Lead exposure.

 

Health and Safety Committee Fundamentals 8 hours

Ideal for existing Health and Safety Committee members, this one-day express course serves as a valuable refresher.

What’s included?

Our training is delivered on site (face-to-face) for corporate groups or we can deliver the course to your group via Zoom.

Courses include training delivery with a qualified and experienced trainer, quality course notes and learning material and certificates. You can have up to 12 – 15 participants per class (depending on the course).

On-site courses can be delivered in Sydney and across NSW. Our trainers can travel to Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth and other regional locations (fees apply).
