Asbestos and Lead Product Awareness Training

Asbestos and Lead Product Awareness Training prepares construction workers who may come into contact with ACM (Asbestos Containing Materials) and Lead. This training helps managers and workers recognise and avoid exposure to dangerous situations, whilst also providing important information for compliance with legislative and licensing requirements for removal.

Since asbestos and lead products are present in many Australian buildings, they and pose a significant risk to employees on construction sites. Therefore, appropriate training is essential for awareness and management, even if staff are not directly involved in removing or handling these materials.

This concise three hour course includes theory and practical demonstrations using safely packaged asbestos and lead samples. Through visual learning and discussions, participants gain the skills and knowledge to manage the risks of asbestos and lead products in the workplace. Additionally, this training can be delivered conveniently on-site for company groups.
