This nationally recognised training equips participants with skills and knowledge to shift loads using manual handling methods, including planning, risk assessment and relocating the load according to the plan. It includes compliance with safety legislation and basic principles of safe lifting. It also covers moving loads as part of day-to-day work, performed under some supervision, generally within a team environment. .
Who should attend this training?
This course is designed for people who are required to carry out manual handling in their day-to-day work, and is relevant to all industries and workplaces.

- Risk factors and common control measures
- Type and characteristics of loads, clearance, routes and storage

How is course content covered?
This practical hands on course is undertaken face-to-face in the classroom. Due to the interactive nature of this manual handling course, the maximum class size is 12 participants.

Our manual handling training is delivered onsite for corporate groups anywhere in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra. Our staff are also happy to travel to country areas.
